being over-loved is so tough

Had dinner and ice cream by the river with
ununoriginal and
trivialaffair tonight, and I think the highlight was:
triv: Yeah, so, tell me. What happened? I don't know.
Me: Right. My friend....has a mother.
triv/unun: ...........................OH OF COURSE. SHE WOULD. Your friend has a MOTHER. BAHAHAHAHA.
Me: I didn't realise it sounded so stupid until I said it!
triv: That's why it was so funny. Best opening line ever.
Me: Yes. Yes. So my friend has a mother. And her mother has...a birthday.
triv/unun: BAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
I am a born storyteller, obviously :D Accolades, please.
I know I've been flailing about Suju a lot, so I shall take a break from it this post and flail over Shige again, because this Wagahai entry rules lives. Shige and his problems with being over-loved. Kato-sama, I do so heartily sympathise. And on that note, Massu is adorable and should complain more so Wagahai gets to record it down for our general amusement.
Also, ngl...this piece of writing about Ryo's Chonmage Purin cracked me up so hard because I mean. A TIME-TRAVELLING SAMURAI TURNED PASTRY CHEF. Pastry chef! Of all things! Because, ofc, he had to time travel to fulfill his true destiny. Pastry chefs didn't exist in the times of samurai. That makes sense, totally. Oh god. /laughs forever

Date: 2010-04-18 05:06 am (UTC)good lord 8D someone should experiment writing fic solely with the teasers for the next 'episode'.

Date: 2010-04-17 05:34 pm (UTC)... That movie sounds terrible. Time-traveling samurai turned pastry chef. Right. I don't think I could watch that, even for Ryo. Where did they come up with things like this?

Date: 2010-04-18 03:19 am (UTC)It's Japan, they come up with weirdass things all the time? LOL IF I had a lot of time to kill I would probably watch it, just for the lulz. (But knowing me, I'd probably never get around to doing it)

Date: 2010-04-17 11:25 pm (UTC)Perhaps your next fic should begin in the same manner, ne? XD
And yes, that Wagahai entry was pretty epic. I think Massu got the hint that he needs to pick up the pace or he'll lose Shige to Koyama (or to everyone in general?)
And I STILL stand by the fact that Ryo's movie is ridiculous and I feel bad for him for having his debut film to be about a time-traveling samurai who ends up making pastries...I think it's Ryo's presence and the sheer absurdity of this film that gives me incentive to watch. Anything else (or anyone else in Ryo's role) and I would just forget about it :P

Date: 2010-04-18 03:24 am (UTC)Aww. Massu should totally be with Shige because Tegoshi is cheating on him with mysterious blond girls. I support Massu in his courting of Shige :')
I feel like watching it just to see what motivates him to be a pastry chef. And how he copes with it when he goes back to being a samurai and, gasp, no pastries to be a chef of! Oh, tragedy.

Date: 2010-04-18 04:50 am (UTC)I think he tasted pudding...
Like that's what it showed in the trailer.
Ryo is dazzled by this phenomenon known as PUDDING and the next scene was him learning to bake...
Maybe Ryo will introduce the idea of delicious cakes to his fellow samurai and make them? Or not cakes...I should say he makes PUDDING for his fellow samurai!!!no subject
Date: 2010-04-18 12:58 am (UTC)SHIGEEEE. I loved that entry so much. And Massu. :D And the over-love. XD
Also, I have been trying my best to just completely not process that Ryo is in this STUPID ASS film. I mean really. Yamapi is an okay actor, but not the best and he gets TWO movies, (well Kurosagi is bad but Ashita no Joe might be okay?) and I fail to see the fairness in Ryo getting THIS. Urgh.

Date: 2010-04-18 03:27 am (UTC)Perhaps Yamapi already paid his dues with the horrorfest that was Kurosagi? And now Ryo will have to step up to the fore and take his Bad Movie with courage! :D

Date: 2010-04-18 07:02 am (UTC)WAGAHAIIII ♥ I do love his Wagahai entries; I wish he posted them more often, but then maybe they wouldn't be as special?
SERIOUSLY RYO'S MOVIE. IDEK. IT'S HYSTERICAL.

Date: 2010-04-18 07:18 am (UTC)Doesn't he update Wagahai frequently (when Wagahai is around)? Definitely one of the most entertaining and creative jwebs, if not the most, though ♥ I could spend all day reading it. ....what am I saying, I have done that.
I'm still chuckling over PUDDING.
