Oh god I have to glee about this I have to glee about this I have to glee about this.

Not since Don't Don have I loved a Super Junior song so fucking much. I have this big soft spot for trot music, also possibly known as getai or enka, because even though it's outdated and wacky and out there and ridiculous IT'S SO NOSTALGIC AND KARAOKE-Y AND AWESOME. This brings me right back to the 1980s or 60s or even the 30s with songs like 夜上海! I think I might love this even more than the always epicly epic Rokkugo, THIS IS HOW MUCH I LOVE TOK TOK TOK. Teuk has such a potentially glittery career as a trot singer, LMAO.

And then I scour around for fancams and find this and I swear I'm almost weeping tears of joy because Donghae is doing the whole trot thing and it's just fantastic. At risk of offending SJ-M stans, I want Donghae in SJ-T ;_;

I think this is possibly the reason why SJ-T is my favourite subgroup. I do actually like this type of music XD

SJ-T is probably my favourite subgroup as well (though SJ-H's pjs still get me a;lsfkja;sldfj;) because augh I'm such a sucker for cheesy karaoke-like songs! I've always loved enka too, and I'm so glad they brought it back! Love the haeteuk and teuk belting it out at the end eeeeeee ♥

SJ-T! It's been so loooonggg. I miss your outrageously blinding outfits combined with boas and questionable wigs.

The only problem with them improving so much in the trot area is that without visual confirmation, they all sort of sound like Teuk. I can only recognize Shindong's voice. ._.

I can only recognise Donghae and Heechul's voices apart from Teuk, but there was this very marvellous fancam that showed me where Hyuk sang. Which made me very happy and grateful.

Obviously your preference for SJ-T sparkles verses Bonamana half nekkid (but different type of sparkles) action means you're cleaaaaarly in it for the music and the leery dancing they do in the background.

Also, I can't be the only one who thinks this, but when they're wearing low collar shirts with bowties, don't they look like strippers? Especially the way Hae was holding the mic from 0:13-0:16 in the fancom. It was as though he was used to swallowing things around that size. Hurhurhur
